Day 1 Sightseeing in Banff
Your motorcoach adventure will start from downtown Calgary this morning heading towards the town of Banff. Upon arrival, a sightseeing tour will take you to the hoodoos, a photograph stop of the Bow River and an afternoon gondola ride (all admissions included). Your next two overnights will be spent at your chosen hotel in Banff providing plenty of opportunities to explore the many shops, restaurants, and tourist attractions. Overnight Banff. Day 2 Exploring Banff This morning, take a cruise on Lake Minnewanka (seasonal*), highlighted by jagged peaks, hoodoo clusters and Devil's Gap. In the afternoon, visit the Whyte Museum (admission not included). This afternoon you'll travel by horseback on a trail ride that includes a cook-out. Overnight Banff. Day 3 Banff to Jasper Today your journey will take you northwards into Jasper National park along one of the most scenic highways in North America. After a stop at the Columbia Icefields for an interpretive Ice Explorer ride onto the Athabasca Glacier, you will continue on to Jasper for your overnight stay. Overnight Jasper. Day 4 VIA Rail's 'Canadian' from Jasper to Vancouver Your day is at leisure until your transfer to the Jasper train station (included), where you will board the VIA Rail train bound for Vancouver (dinner included). Overnight Aboard VIA Rail. Day 5 Arriving in Vancouver Enjoy breakfast (included onboard) then the train arrival at Vancouver's Pacific Central Station in early morning. Transfer by taxi (included) to your hotel. This evening, take an awe-inspiring West Coast Sunset cruise over the Pacific Ocean. See the wonder of Stanley Park as you pass underneath the Lions Gate Bridge, cruise through English Bay, then enter into False Creek near dusk. Dinner is included this evening. Overnight Vancouver Day 6 Discovering Vancouver Take a trolley tour (included) of Vancouver's major attractions this morning. You may wish to stay on for the entire route, and revisit the sights that sparked your interest earlier, or you may wish to jump on & off the trolley several times throughout the 2 hour loop. Admission is included to the Vancouver Aquarium. Overnight Lac Le Jeune. Day 7 Exploring Vancouver Today is free to see the sights of Vancouver with the help of a trolley tour. Tour at your own pace! take the entire tour in 2 hours or get off the trolley at any one of the 23 stops to visit attractions, shop or dine. Then re-board another trolley to continue your tour. Be sure to make a stop at Stanley Park to make use of your admission to the Vancouver Aquarium. Overnight Vancouver. Day 8 Vancouver to Lac Le Jeune Sightseeing Your journey will start with a morning departure from Vancouver. Travel to the resort town of Whistler and after a short break, continue travelling through the historic farming village of Pemberton, before turning onto the Duffy Lake Road. After lunch in Lillooet, travel to Lac Le Jeune Resort for your overnight stop. Overnight in Lac Le Jeune Day 9 Lac Le Jeune to Calgary Sightseeing After breakfast (included), a morning departure will take you eastbound towards the Canadian Rockies. After passing through the Shuswap Lake area, Salmon Arm and Sicamous, you will arrive in Revelstoke in time for lunch. Your motorcoach journey continues over the Kicking Horse Pass and Continental Divide with brief stops in the alpine towns of Lake Louise and Banff. Then, an early evening departure from Banff will take you to the Stampede town of Calgary and your overnight hotel. Day 10 Departing Calgary A morning check out concludes your Western Canadian Circle vacation. *When day tours or attractions are not operational in the off-season, the price will be adjusted or there will be an alternative excursion/attraction made available.

Deluxe: An outstanding property offering high standards of accommodations and facilities. It is important to note though, that Deluxe accommodation refers only to the Hotel Class and not to the room category included in the package price. Some Deluxe hotels are heritage properties that possess historical elegance, but may not reflect current North American deluxe hotel standards. Room upgrades may be available at an additional cost.
Moderate: A property that offers limited hotel facilities and North American standard room features such as a television, telephone, one or two beds, private washroom with shower and/or bathtub (unless otherwise noted). Rooms may be smaller than Deluxe hotel rooms and the public areas may be also be smaller and simpler. Usually suitable for the cost-conscious traveller. |
