Day 1 Arriving in Toronto
Your tour begins with a late afternoon or evening check-in to your selected hotel. Overnight Toronto. Day 2 & 3 VIA Rail's 'Canadian' from Toronto to Jasper This morning you will board VIA Rail's 'Canadian' for your first two nights/three days onboard the train. Your trip will include the hospitality of 'silver and blue' class with all meals and onboard facilities. Overnight onboard VIA Rail. Day 4 Arriving in Jasper Today, you will start the final leg of your trip to Jasper by traveling through Edmonton towards the majestic Rocky Mountains. A full breakfast and lunch are once again included onboard the train. Upon arrival into the resort town of Jasper (late afternoon), transfer to your hotel. Overnight Jasper. Day 5 Exploring Jasper This morning take a 'Discover Jasper' excursion of the area's scenic and historic highlights, including Medicine Lake and Maligne Canyon. Continue on your way to Maligne Lake where you will board a 90 minute interpretive boat cruise (seasonal*), with opportunity to photograph the ideal postcard setting of Spirit Island. Overnight Jasper. Day 6 Jasper to Banff Sightseeing A full day tour to Banff along the famous Icefields Parkway through the heart of the Canadian Rockies, includes an Ice Explorer ride on the Athabasca Glacier at the Columbia Icefield. Arrive in Banff late this afternoon. Overnight Banff. Day 7 Discovering Banff Take the morning 'Discover Banff' excursion with a visit to the Cave & Basin National Historic Site. The final stop on this day is the Banff Gondola where you will enjoy a ride to the summit of Sulphur Mountain. Overnight Banff. Day 8 Cruising in Banff This morning enjoy a cruise on Lake Minnewanka to Devil's Gap (seasonal*). This afternoon travel to famous Lake Louise. Overnight Banf. Day 9 Visiting Lake Louise and the Yoho Valley The morning is yours to enjoy this picturesque setting. Stroll along the lakeshore trails, or hike to a mountain tea house on the shores of Lake Agnes (only 1.5 hours from the Chateau). In the afternoon, travel to Emerald Lake and thundering Takakkaw Falls via the Yoho Valley (seasonal*) Overnight Lake Louise Day 10 Lake Louise to Lac Le Jeune Today depart for the interior of British Columbia via Trans Canada Highway, with lunch in Revelstoke (included). Towering rugged peaks and cascading waterfalls surround you in this surreal journey through Kicking Horse and Roger's Pass. Descend into the Thompson River Valley for an overnight stay at peaceful Lac Le Jeune resort (dinner included). Overnight Lac Le Jeune Day 11 Lac Le Jeune to Vancouver After breakfast (included), tour to the west coast city of Vancouver via Duffey Lake Road. Experience the grandeur of the Coast Mountain Range and the sparkling aqua blue waters of Duffey Lake. Lunch at Lillooet is included before going through Whistler and on to the scenic Sea to Sky Highway. Overnight Lac Le Jeune. Day 12 Sightseeing in Vancouver This morning take the 'Victoria Excursion'; a combination of motorcoach and ferry to Vancouver Island. Enjoy the famous Butchart Gardens, and tour of Victoria - a little piece of England in North America and British Columbia's capital city. Return to Vancouver in the late evening. Overnight Vancouver Day 13 Departing Vancouver A morning tour of Vancouver highlights this fantastic Pacific coast city. Return to your hotel and complete your vacation by checking out. *When day tours or attractions are not operational in the off-season, the price will be adjusted or there will an alternative excursion/attraction made available.
