Day 1 Arriving in Vancouver
Discover the diversity of the coastal city of Vancouver after checking into your hotel.

Day 2 Vancouver to Jasper
After exploring the highlights of Vancouver on a city tour, board VIA Rail’s Canadian and begin your overnight train journey to Jasper. Enjoy the traditional romance of onboard accommodation and dining with outstanding modern services.

Day 3 Jasper
The morning brings views of the magnificent Rocky Mountains. Pass the highest mountain in the Canadian Rockies, Mt. Robson, before arriving in the mountain community of Jasper.

Day 4 Columbia Icefield
Today’s excursioon takes you along the world-famous Icefields Parkway to the Athabasca Glacier for the Columbia Icefield Glacier Experience.

Day 5-7 Jasper to Toronto
Re-board VIA Rail’s Canadian for a 3-night train journey across Canada. The ‘Canadian’ train is the most prestigious of VIA’s routes, as it travels through the immense space of the Prairies into the stark beauty of the Canadian Shield. Relax with a book, join in a daily activity or meet new people – there’s plenty to do!

Day 8 Toronto
Your rail adventure continues through the scenic forest and lake country of Northern Ontario as you make your way to the city of Toronto.

Day 9 Niagara Falls
Experience one of the magical wonders of the world on a full day excursion to Niagara Falls.

Day 10 Toronto to Montréal
Today, VIA Rail’s Corridor Train will transfer you from Toronto to Montréal in the luxury of VIA 1 first class service.

Day 11 Montréal
Your Discovery of Montréal, the world’s second-largest French-speaking city, begins with a city excursion to Old Montréal, Notre-Dame Basilica, Olympic Park, Mount Royal Lookout and the Montréal Harbor. The remainder of the day is yours to explore numerous cafés and specialty boutiques.

Day 12 Montréal to Halifax
The final segment of your coast to coast adventure begins as you board VIA Rail’s ‘Ocean’ for an overnight train journey to Halifax. Enjoy onboard accommodation and local cuisine and you travel through the rural communities of Québec’s south shore to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.

Day 13 Halifax
An afternoon arrival in Halifax allows for plenty of time to begin your exploration of Atlantic Canada.

Day 14 Halifax
Join a kilted guide for an excursion to the scenic and historic highlights of Halifax, including City Hall, Grande Parade, Government House, Halifax Port, Point Pleasant Park and Halifax Citadel National Historic Park.

Day 15 Halifax
Your journey across Canada comes to an end as you check-out from your Halifax hotel.
