Day 1 Montréal
Upon arrival in Montréal, transfer independently by scheduled airporter service, limousine or taxi to your downtown hotel (transfer not included).

Day 2 Montréal
Today is your time to explore one of the most visited areas of the city – Old Montreal! With cobblestone streets and quaint shops, this area is one best explored on foot. A walking tour includes lots of information on history and architecture, and many anecdotes revealing the secrets of Old Montreal, from yesterday to today. From Place d'Armes to Place Jacques-Cartier, Notre-Dame Basilica, the Champ de Mars and the old Bonsecours Market. Also, take some time for a short day cruise on the St. Lawrence River that departs from this same area.

Day 3 Montréal
A second full day in this diverse city offers a different perspective – the natural attractions. Visit the imposing Zeiss planetarium, together with over one hundred auxiliary projectors, reproduces all the objects visible to the naked eye on our immense Star-Theatre dome. At the Planetarium constellations, black holes, quasars, galaxies, and nebulae reveal their secrets for you... The Botanical Garden & Insectarium is an oasis in the midst of this vibrant city.

Later this evening, partake of the marvelous cuisine that Quebec is known for at Auberge Saint Gabriel restaurant.

Day 4 Montréal to Québec City
On this full day motorcoach tour, an expert guide will bring you through all the historical treasures of Quebec such as : Place Royale, Notre Dame Basilca, Plains of Abraham, Parliament Building, Montmorency Falls, Ile D'Orleans, Place D'Armes. At the conclusion of the tour, you will be dropped off at your Quebec City hotel.

Day 5 Québec City
Today, travel from Quebec City along the St. Lawrence River and into the mountains of Charlevoix. Your guide will provide a commentary on the natural history of this rugged and unspoiled land. At the mouth of the Saguenay Fjord you will board a specially designed ship where an experienced naturalist will explain the habits of the Finback, Minke and Beluga whales that frequent this region during summer. Sample the cuisine of the Charlevoix region, at a local restaurant, on your return to Quebec City.

Note: When whale watching is not available, Country Side Tour - Ste-Anne-De-Beaupre Tour is substituted. (Travel back in time to rural Quebec to see many traditional villages. Stops include the world famous Shrine, Montmorency Falls and the Island of Orleans, discovered by Jacques Cartier in 1535.)

Day 6 Québec City
Located along the river, a few steps from the Old Port of Quebec, the Musee de la Civilisation is a theme museum. Its exhibition topics are a link between the past, the present and the future; its approach presents a new and dynamic vision on the human experience, on civilizations from here and from farther a field.

Again this evening, sample more local cuisine at Le Poisson d'Avril restaurant, located just outside the gate of Old Quebec City.

Day 7 Quebec City To Montreal
An early morning departure on VIA 1 returns you back to Montreal by noon where you may transfer on your own to the Montreal airport. Any connecting flight booked for today from Montreal should depart after 4:00 pm at the earliest.
