Day 1 Arriving in Toronto
Arrive on your own in Toronto today so you can prepare for your early morning departure. Overnight Toronto. Day 2 Exploring Toronto Today take a unique "Hippo" tour of Toronto in a vessel that offers land and water tours of Toronto. Come splash into Lake Ontario on a "Bus that Floats!" Experience one of Canada's most beautiful cities with all its historical sites and its magnificent waterways. The rest of the day is at leisure and admission is included to the famed Royal Ontario Museum. Overnight Toronto. Day 3 Toronto to Niagara Falls Sightseeing This morning depart on an insightful and comprehensive tour one-way tour to Niagara Falls. Visit Table Rock, Floral Clock, Botanical Gardens, Queenston Heights, the Spanish Aero Car Observation Area and take a ride on the Maid of the Mist. Enjoy a deluxe buffet lunch at the fabulous Penthouse Restaurant overlooking both sets of fall. At the end of the tour, head on to your Niagara Falls hotel. Overnight Niagara Falls. Day 4 Exploring Niagara Falls Today is yours to discover the highlights of Niagara Falls at your own pace using the Niagara Falls & Great Gorge Adventure Pass & People Mover. Later this evening, a 3 course dinner from the top of the revolving Skylon Tower overlooking the falls concludes your busy day. Overnight Niagara Falls. Day 5 VIA Rail's 'VIA 1' from Niagara Falls to Kingston Either an early morning or mid-afternoon departure on VIA Rail takes you from Niagara Falls to Toronto in Comfort Class (no meals). There will be approximately a one hour stopover at Union Station before continuing on to your final destination today of Kingston on VIA 1 service including a meal onboard. Overnight Kingston. Day 6 Exploring Kingston Hop aboard a trolley for a unique journey into Canada's past! Highlights of this 50 minute tour include the Royal Military College, Fort Henry, Fort Frontenac, Penitentiaries, Olympic Harbour and Bellevue House (residence of Sir John A. MacDonald, Canada's first Prime Minister). Also included today is a 3 hour Cruise of the 1000 Islands. Overnight Kingston. Day 7 VIA Rail's 'VIA 1' from Kingston to Ottawa Your morning is free to explore on your own prior to boarding VIA Rail again this afternoon for a 2 hour ride to Ottawa, the capital city of Canada, in VIA 1 service. Overnight Ottawa Day 8 Exploring Ottawa A 2 hour city tour shows off the highlights of the lovely city of Ottawa including the Federal Parliament Building, Government House, Prime Minister's residence, Notre-Dame Basilica, Canadian Museum of Civilization, National Gallery, Byward Marke, National Arts Centre, Rideau Falls, National War Memorial, Rideau Canal, Central Experimental Fall, and Rockcliffe Park. Later, a 1.5 hour Ottawa River narrated cruise takes you past the most magnificent sights Canada's Capital has to offer. Overnight Ottawa Day 9 Departing Ottawa Your Ontario experience concludes with a morning check out from your hotel. You may choose to depart Ottawa from the international airport or by VIA Rail.
